The plant is equipped with a shuttle kiln calciner achieving temperatures to 2400°F. Primary products produced in the shuttle kiln consist of specialty calcium aluminates for the refractory and metallurgical markets. The plant is equipped with a jaw, cone, and hammermill crushing circuit with a 5-deck screen for specialty sizing operations. There are two ceramic lined 4 X 7 foot continuous feed ball mills with an air separator for custom grinding applications. This plant is also equipped with a laser particle size analyzer and an EDAX x-ray fluoresent machine for analytical work.
