Waterways
- The 445-mile long McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, with a minimum 9 draft, is the nations most inland all weather waterway linking Oklahoma with inland ports on the Ohio, Illinois and Mississippi Rivers and sea ports throughout the world, via the Port of New Orleans.
- The navigation system is well suited for shipping liquid and dry bulk materials, general cargo and large fabricated items. Considering the variety of barges available and the increasing use of containerization, almost any product is suitable for transportation on the system.
